# Export contacts (Backup)

This guide shows you how to back up all contacts at once. This is especially important as a backup (backup means: a security copy of your data).

You can export all contacts from the app and save them on your computer or transfer them to another system, for example, a **CRM** or simply into a spreadsheet program such as **Excel.**

## Step-by-step guide

Please proceed as follows:

1.  Open the **Contacts Pipeline or List**(The pipeline is the overview where all your contacts are displayed.)  
    In the top right, you will see a button with
2.  three dots (⋮)**This button contains additional functions. Click on it.**Select the item  
    “Export”
3.  Select the option “**Export All Contacts”.**The app will now create a
4.  CSV file **(A CSV file is a simple spreadsheet file that you can save or import into other programs.)**

## What data is included in the export?

In the export file, you will find the following information:

-   First name
-   Last name
-   Email address
-   Phone number (if available)
-   Additionally, the file contains information about **what the contact has done**, for example:
-   -   performed an online property valuation (In this case, the postal code, street, and city of the valued property are also included)
    -   and/or downloaded a guide.
-   downloaded a guide
-   Processing status of the contact
-   If available, **UTM parameters** are also exported.  
    (UTM parameters are optional additional information in a link. They show through which advertisement or source a contact came.)

## Conclusion

With the export, you secure your contacts quickly and completely.  
This way, you retain control over your collected contact data.
