Verification via text message or phone call

If you activate phone number verification, the contact must enter a text message code or make a phone call to confirm their number. This ensures that the phone number belongs to the interested party.

How does this benefit me as a real estate agent?

This verification improves the quality of contacts, as only genuine, verified phone numbers are accepted. However, this additional hurdle may also result in fewer interested parties completing the step and therefore not carrying out a property valuation.

💡 This means that although the quality of the data is increased, the total number of valuations could decrease.

Your decision: quality or quantity

It is up to you whether you want to activate this additional verification. Would you prefer more valuations with potentially incorrect phone numbers or fewer valuations with verified numbers? The choice is yours.

Additional information

If a contact skips verification, they will still receive the valuation by email but will not be able to open the PDF. In the contact details view in the app, you can see who has not completed verification.
