Get reviews on Google

Give your customers the opportunity to rate your business directly on Google! In this article, you will learn how to create and share a custom review link.

Create a Link for Google Reviews

How to create the Google review link

  1. Create or log in to your Google Business Profile
First, you’ll need an active Google Business Profile (formerly “Google My Business”). If you already have a profile, log in at https://business.google.com/ using your Google account.

  2. Retrieve the review link
    1. Option A: Via Google Search (quick and easy)
      • Open Google and search for your business name (e.g., “BOTTIMMO”) while logged into your Google account.
      • Your business profile will appear on the right-hand side.
      • Click “Customers” → “Reviews”.
      • Then select “Get more reviews”.
      • You’ll receive a direct link that you can copy and paste into the BOTTIMMO app.

    2. Option B: Via the Google Business Profile Dashboard
      • Visit https://business.google.com/.
      • Select your business from the list.
      • On your dashboard’s homepage, find the section “Get more reviews”.
      • Click the “Share review form” button.
      • Copy the displayed link and paste it into BOTTIMMO in the appropriate field.

Insert the link into BOTTIMMO

What’s the benefit?

Once you’ve entered the link into BOTTIMMO, the intelligent email funnel will automatically ask all contacts (whose status is set to “Contract awarded”) for a Google review on your behalf. So reviews will come in on their own.

New Customers

New customers can optionally add the link during onboarding in Step 5 “Email”.

Existing Customers

Existing customers can add the link in the appropriate field in the app’s settings:

Manually request a Google review

💡 This feature is only available if you have added a link to your Google review page.

Thanks to the Acquisition Booster, you can also manually request reviews from contacts.
To do this, open the Acquisition Booster and select “Google Review” as the topic (last item in the topic selection dropdown).
This works both from the contact list and the individual contact detail view.

The following text will then be sent as an email (including your configured signature) to selected contacts:
