What is a widget?

A widget is a small element that is inserted into a website to display certain functions or content. This could be a contact form, a checklist, a guide or a property valuation function, for example. Widgets make a website more interactive and offer visitors additional functions without them having to leave the page. Integrating a widget into your own website is easy and can be done with a short code that you insert at the desired location.

What types of bait widgets are available?

Adding lead magnet widgets to your website is easy and can be done in just a few steps. Before you start, take a moment to consider which lead magnets you want to use on your website and where they would be best placed. It is helpful to know the different types of lead magnet widgets.

Types of lead magnet widgets

1 - Individual widgets for tools, guides or checklists

For each tool (e.g. property valuation), guide and checklist, there is a separate widget that you can use on your website.

You can find these widgets in the BOTTIMMO app in the Landing pages & lead magnets section.

1. Select a tool, guide or checklist and click on it.
2. On the next page, you will see an Embed code button on the right. Click on it to see the code and a preview of the widget.

2 - Widgets to integrate all guides or checklists at once

You can also integrate all guides or all checklists into your website with just one widget.

This option is particularly time-saving, as you only need to insert a single widget to display all guides (or all checklists) on your website.

1. You can also find this feature in the BOTTIMMO app in the Landing Pages & Lead Magnets section.
2. Above the individual topics of the guides or checklists, there is the option All guides/checklists in 1.

Where can I find all the bait and the integration code?

The bait is very easy to find:

1. Open the menu item ‘Landing pages & bait’ in your BOTTIMMO app.
2. Select the desired topic.
3. Click on the button ‘</> INTEGRATION CODE’.

Integrate BOTTIMMO bait widgets into your website

With these step-by-step instructions, you can easily integrate the widgets yourself:

Here is a step-by-step guide:

1. Copy the code

1. Open the ‘Landing pages & bait’ menu item in your BOTTIMMO app.
2. Select the desired topic.
3. Click on the ‘</> INTEGRATION CODE’ button.
4. Copy the code displayed by clicking on the copy icon.

2. Paste the code

1. Open the editing area of your website.
2. Paste the copied code into the desired location on your website – where you want the widget to appear.
3. Save your changes.

3. Done

The widget will now appear on your website as soon as it is accessed. 🎉
