What is an email funnel?

In marketing, the term ‘funnel’ refers to a sequence of measures aimed at a specific goal. An email funnel serves to provide further information to a new contact and encourage them to take further action in order to find out more about their interests. The aim of our funnels is to obtain as complete a data set as possible and to arrange a personal meeting with the estate agent. We have automated this process, so we compile each new email based on the information available in order to move closer to the goal step by step. This takes the pressure off you as an estate agent and you benefit from the results. Would you rather do it yourself? No problem, simply deactivate it for a contact.

What is special about the BOTTIMMO funnel?

The intelligent email funnel recognises what interests a contact has and automatically adapts the content of the emails to be sent. In addition, the content of the emails also changes automatically when you change the status of the contact.

Which emails have been sent to a contact?

You can view the funnel emails that have been sent in the detailed view of a contact. To do this, simply go to the desired contact and scroll down the contact details page to the contact's history (below the map). There you will find all emails that have been sent to this lead on your behalf.

What do the emails contain?

You can view the email texts of all emails sent. To do this, call up a contact and look in the contact's history for the entries ‘Email sent’ or ‘Email opened’.

Click on one of these entries. It will open and display the text that was sent.

How can you influence the content of the emails?

The contact statuses

  • ‘successfully contacted’ and
  • ‘order received’

influence the content of the emails and keep them relevant. This avoids irrelevant emails and reduces the unsubscribe rate.
If the contact statuses are maintained correctly, your contacts will receive more relevant emails.

How can a funnel be stopped?

In accordance with the GDPR, every contact has the option in every email to end the email sequence themselves and unsubscribe from the funnel. If you want to stop a funnel for a contact, you can do this on the contact details page. You will find the button to end the funnel in the form of a crossed-out envelope.

How can I change the signature in emails?

If you want to customise the signature in automatic emails, go to the email settings in the BOTTIMMO app and open the ‘Signature’ section. There you can add your own text to the default signature or create your own signature.
