Make good use of the content you create

Once you have combined and edited the desired text type and topic with a suitable image, the question arises as to how this content can best be used. Depending on the text type you have chosen, there are various functions available for this purpose:

Download content

The option to download content is available for all text types, topics and images. To do this, click on the ‘Download’ button below the selection area.

The Content Creator automates several steps here as well:
Text, images and a link to the landing page corresponding to the selected topic are combined, collected in a zip file and saved to the desired location (set in your browser) on your computer.

ℹ️ Tip: Save time on social media marketing:
For example, if you have created and downloaded a Facebook post, the same post can also be used for Instagram and LinkedIn.

Post directly to Facebook

If ‘Facebook post’ has been selected as the text type, you also have the option of posting this content directly to Facebook from the Content Creator. This saves you numerous steps and a lot of time. All you have to do is connect your Facebook account to BOTTIMMO once. You can find out how this works in the following paragraph:

Connect your Facebook account

To activate this feature, you must first link your Facebook account to BOTTIMMO. This sounds complicated, but it's actually very simple: the BOTTIMMO system guides you through all the necessary steps.
To start the process, create a Facebook post and then click on ‘Link social media accounts’ below the post. You will then be guided through the linking process. For future posts, you can then post directly from this location. This is because the ‘Link social media accounts’ button will then be replaced by the ‘Post now’ button.

Remove connection to Facebook

This link can also be removed via the settings in your BOTTIMMO system. To do this, go to Settings → Functions → Manage social media channels and open this settings area by clicking on it. The linked channels are displayed there and can be disconnected with just one click.

Posting on Instagram

An Instagram account can also be linked for direct posting on Instagram. Select the ‘Instagram Post’ text type in the Content Creator and create a post on a topic of your choice. Then click on ‘Link social media accounts’ below the post you have created and follow the instructions that appear. For future Instagram posts, simply click on the ‘Post now’ button below the post you have created and Content Creator will automatically post your content to the linked Instagram account.

ℹ️ Note: Instagram, like Facebook, is part of the Meta company. Meta is working to integrate the Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp services more closely together. It is therefore necessary to link your Instagram business profile to the corresponding Facebook page. The BOTTIMMO app will help you do this.

Instagram Business Profile

To use Instagram professionally, you need a Business Profile. Don't worry, your existing account can be converted to a Business Profile in just a few steps:

Launch your Instagram app on your smartphone and go to your profile.
Open the menu (top right).
Tap on ‘Settings and Privacy’.
Select ‘Account Type and Tools’.
Tap on ‘Switch to Professional Account’.
Choose a category that best describes your business, then select ‘Business’.
Done!

Post directly to LinkedIn

LinkedIn is now available as a third option. Link your LinkedIn account to publish your posts on your LinkedIn company page. Here's how:

Open the Content Creator.
Select ‘LinkedIn Post’ as the text type.
Then create your post.
At the bottom centre, you will find a button labelled ‘Link social media accounts’.
Click on this button and follow the instructions.

The LinkedIn account only needs to be linked once. For all subsequent LinkedIn posts, simply click on the ‘Post now’ button below the post you have created. The Content Creator will automatically publish your post on the linked LinkedIn account.

⚠️ Please note: To post on LinkedIn, you must first create a LinkedIn page.

LinkedIn only allows content to be posted via the API on company pages and not on individual profiles. Therefore, you need a LinkedIn company page.
