Google Business Profile: Add BOTTIMMO guides and checklists as products
Our partner LocalOnTop regularly explains this process in training sessions for estate agents. Here you will find a simple, easy-to-understand step-by-step guide that you can apply directly.
Why should you add BOTTIMMO guides to your Google Business Profile?
When property owners search for you, they will see in your Google Business Profile:
- your business name
- opening hours
- reviews
- and directly below: your “Products”
This is where you can place your guides and checklists. These items are valuable because they show your expert knowledge and build trust.
Benefits for you:
- You appear more professional and competent straight away.
- Property owners have a clear reason to click on your website.
- Your landing pages receive more traffic.
- You increase your chances of generating new leads.
Example from practice:
Many successful agents, including RE/MAX Paderborn, use this area and benefit noticeably from the increased visibility.
How to add your guides and checklists as products
Step 1: Open your Google Business Profile
Open your Google Business Profile through your Google account.
If you do not yet have a profile, you can create one for free.
Step 2: Select the “Products” section
On the left side of the dashboard, you will find the Products section.
Here you can add new products or edit existing ones.
Step 3: Choose a product name
The product name should be clear and direct. Use:
- Guide + topic
- or Checklist + topic
- optional: add your location or company name
Examples:
- “Guide: Divorce – Selling a Property in Regensburg”
- “Checklist: Selling a House – Property Professionals Musterstadt”
- “Guide: Renovation – Müller Estate Agency”
A clear product name improves visibility and supports your local reach.
Step 4: Create a new category
If you do not yet have a suitable category, create a new one.
Examples of good categories:
- Guides
- Checklists
- Knowledge for Property Owners
You can assign products to these categories later.
Step 5: Add a product description
Write a short description that clearly explains the benefit for property owners.
Example:
“This free guide explains the most important steps when selling a property after a divorce. Compact, easy to understand and ideal for property owners who want to prepare.”
The description should be:
- easy to understand
- clear about the topic and the benefit
- professional and motivating
Step 6: Upload an image
Each product needs an image.
You may use:
- a cover image of your BOTTIMMO guide (you find these in the materials section of the BOTTIMMO app)
- a graphic
- an excerpt from your guide
- Make sure:
- the text is easy to read
- the image is clear
- the overall appearance is professional
Step 7: Add the link to your landing page
At the bottom of the product form, you will find the field “More information” or “Link”.
Enter the URL to the corresponding landing page.
Examples:
- https://www.your-domain.co.uk/checklist-house-sale
- These landing pages are where you will later receive your leads.
Step 8: Save
After saving, Google reviews the entry.
Normally it appears in your profile within a few minutes.
